3U Black Hinged Vented Rack Panel with Slam Lock.

For use with 0.12" Rack Rails: R0828 Family.

The R1372/3UVK is a 3U hinged vented rack panel, also known as a rack door, that spans three rack spaces and opens on a keyless slam lock for tool-free access. It is built specifically for 0.12" (3mm) rack rail.

Pressed from 1.2mm steel in black, 19" (482.6mm) wide and 0.59" (15mm) deep. It fixes to one front rail with two screws at the top and bottom of its span, and the slam lock catches on the flange of the rail opposite, so it swings clear without a separate hinge. The fixing slots are obround, giving room to line it up squarely.

63% free area: 5/32" holes on a 3/16" 60° staggered pitch
The slam lock is keyless, so it holds the panel closed and keeps the rack front tidy
Fits either way round, so the door swings from the left or the right
Mounting hardware not included: use cage nuts and screws, or screws alone if your rack rail is tapped

For use with 0.12" (3mm) rack rail: the R0828 family. For 0.06" (1.5mm) and or 0.08" (2mm) rails, use the R1272 range. For a lockable rack door, see the R1298 range.

Is it possible to retrofit the R1372/3UVK or get this with lock and key?

Unfortunately this is not a standard option, as the panel locks into the rack strip Regards Penn Elcom

Will these R1372/3UVK hinged rack panels mount in front of rack shelves? If so, will it also mount in front of the sliding shelves, and if so, can the shelves slide in and out when the hinged door is open?

Would I be able to mount 2 X 120mm fans on the back of it? Would the vent holes line up for the fan mounts?

This product is not made for additional mounting without modification, and we are unable to recommmend its suitability for this project. We also sadly cannot confirm without further dimensional data that the fan units could match up.
