Will this drawer stay in place during transport?

how far does the R1291 drawer open?

This drawer opens to 380mm / 14.96”

Does this item require mounting front and rear, or will front mounting suffice for light loads? Can you tell me the inside clearance height when the drawer is closed? Thanks

The drawer will support front mount only on light loads but the runners are guaranteed to run much more smoothly with both front and rear mounting. The runners are adjustable for different depths.

Recently taken delivery of the 1U drawer. Does the drawer come free of the rails for installation? Or are there any mounting instructions... Thanks,

We have brought these R1291K shelves but they do not reach the back of the rack to secure them, fo you do a extender that’s will fit between shelf and rear of middle Atlantic rack, like a 1U spacer?

Hi how does the drawer hold shut Is there a latch or similar

Thank you for your enquiry, This R1291K model holds it self shut with friction catches. We do however have the R1291K/2L which has 2 slam latches. Regards Penn Elcom

What's the stroke of this drawer? Does it have some kind of internal stop?

The stroke of this product is 350mm / 13.78". This product does have an internal stop when fully closed and fully open.
