Aluminium groove extrusion for flight case construction, designed to attach panels without rivets. Instead of the traditional rivet-fixed method, the panel's routed edge clicks onto the extrusion - giving a clean, rivet-free finish. The groove profile mates with the EG-0527/1 tongue extrusion to form a precise, aligned lid-to-base closure.
The smooth exterior surface gives the joint a clean, professional appearance on the finished case.
No riveting required - the panel's routed edge clicks onto the extrusion, eliminating rivet drilling and giving the case a cleaner appearance.

Panel Preparation Required: Panels must be CNC-routed with a groove 10mm from the panel edge (minimum 3mm wide, 1mm deep), with the outside face facing down during routing. Note: the click-on system requires tight panel thickness tolerances (±0.1mm) for a secure fit.
Installation: Press the panel's routed edge onto the extrusion — no riveting required. Pair with EG-0527/1 tongue extrusion to complete the lid-to-base closure.
