Is this a two piece unit? Can the top be left off to allow it to be more open?

This product is not designed to be modified. While we would recommend looking at R1291K - 1U Black Rack Drawer instead for open access, we can customize the EX-6301B...

Can it accommodate a laptop size, up to 16 inches? [ Macbook Pro ] At the back, in the drawer for the laptop... Is there an opening for the power cable/USB cables, etc.?
