Quiet Exhaust Solution for Flight Case Racks Penn Elcom brings you a new and quiet exhaust fan unit for flight case racking that is mounted into a Penn Elcom large dish for your convenience.

The FT80-Q-FC regulates the enclosure’s temperature by expelling hot air, preventing thermal failure. Thermal failure is caused by many generic in-board fans that simply circulate hot air within the enclosure rather than expelling it.

- 1 x 9 bladed 80mm / 3.15" fan

A second unit can also be run from the 500mA power supply by using a CRC-LINK cable.
Thermal sensor accessory included, the CRC-TEMP can be Plugged into the TEMP socket.

What is the maximum panel thickness that this exhaust fan will fit through?

The FT80-Q-FC can be used on all panels up to a thickness of 20mm / 0.78 Inches

Please can you provide approvals information for this fan? In particular, we need the notified body approvals (e.g. UL, VDE, CB, TUV etc), are you able to provide them please?

Is the fan reversable? Can you make the fan suck hot air out of the case?

This product is not reversible, and this product does suck hot air out of the case. The FT80-Q-FC regulates the enclosure’s temperature by pulling out hot air from the case, preventing thermal failure.
