TSA Wooden Crate Ventilation Cover for K9 Screening

Ventilation cover for TSA-compliant air freight crates, required for K9 screening of cargo shipments.

Specifications:

- Overall diameter: 100mm diameter

- Vent opening size: 75.94mm diameter

- Depth: 4.2mm

- Material: Steel

- Finish: Zinc-plated

Installation:

- Suggested Cutout Size: 76mm with at least 4.2mm depth.

- Mounting: 4 x 5.2mm diameter holes

- Fasteners: Use screws or rivets appropriate to panel material (not supplied)

- Note: Cover only - does not include internal mesh or netting

Why Ventilation Is Required: Since July 1st 2021, airlines screen 100% of cargo. K9 units (sniffer dogs) are used to speed up screening and reduce reliance on X-Ray machines. TSA requires wooden crates to have ventilation openings so K9 units can screen contents without opening the crate. Crates without proper ventilation may face delays or require unpacking for X-Ray screening.
