I'm curious how the removable trolley works, is this is something which is easily taken on and off?

The trolley slots onto mounting brackets on your case and is designed to come on and off easily. When you need to move your case, slide it on, extend the handle to your preferred height, and slide it off when it's not needed. The brackets remain on the case.
