The Penn Elcom 9284M is a roto-lock panel lock, or draw latch, with a plate-style body for side or mortise fixing, useful where tab-mounted locks won't sit. With a working load of 1320lb (600kg), it pairs with the 9284F Female Panel Lock to pull two panels into a firm, flush join. As the lock engages it progressively draws the halves together, absorbing panel misalignment, manufacturing tolerances and gasket compression. Also known as a concealed panel lock or coffin lock.

Installation
- Fasteners: 1/4" or M6 screws, or 1/4" (6.4mm) rivets (not supplied)
- Maintain a 1/16" / 0.063" (1.6mm) gap between latch and receptacle
- Actuation: 5/16" (7.9mm) hex barrel hole, operated with the 9608 hex wrench (sold separately)
