Description

The R46-HDCBKIT is a heavy duty caster kit that raises the mobile load capacity of Pro Series server rack enclosures, allowing for a load capacity of 1,102lb (500kg).

Two full-width wheel plates in 0.1" (2mm) high-strength steel bolt into the tapped enclosure base. Instead of four independent corner loads, each plate ties its casters together and stiffens the base against inward flex.

Kit includes:

2 x W0990-V6 3.9" (100mm) swivel caster

2 x W0985-V6 3.9" (100mm) braked swivel caster

2 x R4006-WP wheel plate, black

16 x M8 full nut, zinc plated

16 x S1110 1 3/16" Long Zinc Pozidriv Pan Head Screw with M8 Thread

Two braked and two unbraked casters, so the enclosure rolls when you need it to and holds position when parked. Non-marking blue rubber wheels grip well on hard floors without marking finished surfaces, and the swivel plates rotate through a full 360 degrees for positioning in tight spaces.

Fitting is straightforward. Remove the existing levelling feet or casters, then a single M8 screw per hole passes up through the caster plate and wheel plate into the tapped enclosure base. Sixteen screws in total, no drilling, and the conversion is fully reversible if the rack later needs to be fixed in position.
