Penn Elcom’s shopping cabinets are the ideal choice for a totally secure way to receive letters, parcels and boxes while unattended.

The weather-resistant containers come pre-assembled and install anywhere quickly and easily, either by simply bolting to a concrete surface or by using interior weights. This makes PBX perfect for residences, offices, public areas or communal interiors.

How It Works
Deliveries are placed through a swing-open hatch at the top of the box into a loading bay. Then, when the handle is released the cantilevered bay floor swings down, allowing items to move securely into locked storage below.

This system ensures that items cannot be accessed from the entry hatch and offers the peace of mind security that deliveries are safe.

Contact Free
Since the PBX can be securely installed to porches, paths, gardens and driveways, it’s ideal for home deliveries when occupants are unable to attend in person. Couriers simply drop the item into the box where it’s safe until collection.

Anti-Theft
The clever two-stage security system ensures items cannot be reached through the entry hatch and remain inaccessible without the key.

The PBX shopping cabinet is tough - with a strong anti-weather powder coat to keep it protected from the elements. Not only that, but the seals are also crafted with weather-resistant materials so it’s built to endure.

PBX1 is the ideal model for homes and offices, perfect for everyday deliveries. For frequent parcel traffic and multiple users, the heavy-duty PBX2 model has a larger volume and makes an excellent upgrade.

These secure steel delivery boxes ship and can be assembled in moments using standard tools for a cost-efficient and contact-free delivery box solution.

With three different sizes to accommodate larger items like bags and boxes plus a secure lockable construction, they’re perfect for receiving grocery or parcel deliveries at home without the need to be present; following social distancing guidelines.

Each comes with two sets of keys for the slam-lock door and is designed to offer a safe and contact-free method for absent receipt of packages. When a delivery is made, couriers can lock the swing door and place the keys through the slot provided. The contents are then safe until collected later.

Two colour choices and three sizes cater for various requirements with a small, medium and large option available. Larger models include interior shelves for optimum separation and stacking of letters, parcels and groceries.
