The speakON cable connectors are the industry-standard connectors for amplifier / loudspeaker connections. The entire family of 2, 4 and 8 pole cable connectors has been designed to operate in high current, inductive load environment of loudspeakers. The cable connectors feature a robust plastic housing, the traditional Neutrik chuck type cable clamp, a unique locking principle and touch proof contacts. The 2 and 8 pole versions offer 30 Amp current rating while the new 4 pole SPX type features up to 50 Amp current carrying capacity for the operation of high power speakers and amplifiers carrying more than 1000 Watts.

The speakON panel mount connectors are the standard chassis connectors for loudspeaker / amplifier interconnections. They feature a unique metal locking system, making contact only once fully locked. The Speakon receptacles are robust, versatile and easy to terminate with either flat tab (Faston) or screw terminals, pcb mount or soldering. They are available in 2, 4 and 8 pole configuration utilizing D size or G size panel cutout. The chassis connectors are airtight for audio applications (leakage 30 cm3/s at 10 kPa differential pressure) unless otherwise stated.

The STX Series is the next generation of 4 and 8 pole speakON connectors especially designed for heavy duty amplifier-loudspeaker applications like professional touring. The extremely rugged and durable STX Series features an all metal housing and the 4 pole version a built-in gasket providing weatherproof protection to IP54.
